Accessing and updating personal information
When you use Genia Business services, we make good-faith efforts to provide access to your personal information and offer to correct it if it is inaccurate, or delete it at your request unless it must be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. Before processing such requests, we ask individual users to identify themselves and the information they wish to access, correct or remove. We also reserve the right to decline requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require excessive technical effort, jeopardise the privacy of others, are highly impractical (for example, requests concerning information stored on backup tapes), or involve access that is not required. Whenever we provide access or correction, we do so free of charge, except where this would require disproportionate effort. Some of our services have different procedures for accessing, correcting or deleting users’ personal information.
